Fine for Wick driver with no licence or MOT

Using his car without a licence and MOT certificate cost a Wick man £133 on each offence at the town's sheriff court on Wednesday.

Forty-seven-year-old William Mackenzie, of Cliff Cottages, Papigoe, admitted the offence which occurred in Bankhead Road, Wick, on February 28.

He also admitted a previous record of offending.
