Family history group to hold WWI book launch in Halkirk

Caithness Family History Society is to hold an informal launch for the second volume in its latest series of books, giving details of all the World War I service personnel commemorated on the war memorials at Halkirk and Reay.

People will be able to meet researcher and compiler Kathy Wares and have their books signed. There will be complimentary refreshments.

The event is in the Ross Institute, Halkirk, between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday, September 2.
