An offshore worker landed in police trouble after a fall-out with his partner.

Lee Williamson appeared at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday and admitted threatening or abusive behaviour.

The 30-year-old shouted, swore, argued and struggled with the woman at a house in Thurso on July 1.

His plea of not guilty to assaulting her was accepted by the Crown.

Williamson, of Sinclair Drive, Wick, had sentence deferred until November 29 for a community justice social work report.
