Falkirk six accused of committing string of assaults in Thurso
SIX men from Falkirk are to stand trial over 13 alleged assaults in Thurso town centre over the weekend.
The men, aged between 21 and 48, all pleaded not guilty to the 13 charges which include allegations of hitting a man with a glass bottle and causing permanent disfigurement by repeatedly punching another man.
The six accused, who appeared in the dock in two lots, are charged with being involved in two separate incidents in the town on Saturday.
Four are accused of committing offences at Top Joes bar in the town’s Traill Street.
Three of the four also face charges allegedly committed in Skinandi’s nightclub.

The final two are accused along with three others of other offences.
The first group is to stand trial on November 29 and the second group on December 17.
All were released on bail.
