EnerQuip to double size of Middle East team

An Aberdeenshire-based oilfield equipment firm with premises in Caithness has announced plans to double the size of its team in the Middle East and add new workers at its American hub.

After a record-breaking year in 2023 when revenues pushed through the £20 million mark, EnerQuip will also expand its UK team by 15 per cent.

The company currently employs 110 people across its global operations, including its headquarters at Findon, near Aberdeen, and at Smerlie, Lybster.

The planned expansion of the company’s presence in Houston and the need for more staff in the Middle East follow an increase in activities including the opening of a 1500 sq ft facility in Abu Dhabi.

The award-winning torque specialist is also completing negotiations relocate its Houston business, with details to be finalised in by the end of this quarter of the year.

Global sales and business development manager Darren Bragg said: “From the outset, EnerQuip’s growth has been both rapid and exponential across all our chosen marketplaces. We now look forward to further uplevelling our offering by adding key people across our locations.”

Launched in Aberdeen in 2015, EnerQuip is a market-leading specialist in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of torque machines and associated products.
