Thurso boating pond was the setting for the first outdoor event since 2019 held by members, helpers and carers from the Caithness branch of Enable, the charity for people with learning disabilities.

In excellent weather, a safari treasure hunt saw 25 laminated pictures of well-known animals being placed in and around the grounds for competitors to locate.

Ladies' winner was Charlene Wilkinson, with Tracey Mackenzie as runner-up and Louise Forbes in third place.

The men's winner was Peter Butterfield, with Stuart Henderson second and Peter Hardy third.
