Emergency services in attendance at Thurso road crash

Emergency services are in attendance at a the scene of a road crash on the B874 near Thurso which occurred at around 7am today (April 25).

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) issued a statement saying that three of its appliances were deployed to the scene on the B874 Thurso to Halkirk road.

There is no information how many vehicles are involved in the crash or whether anybody has been injured but ambulances were seen speeding through Watten at around 7.30am today.

A SFRS spokeswoman said: “We were called to a crash near Thurso on the B874 at about 7am.

“Three appliances were sent to the scene and remain there.”
