THE first meeting of what is hoped will be a new branch of Dyslexia Scotland in Caithness is to be held.

Everyone is being welcomed to the event and free talk called ‘What is dyslexia and what helps?’ by former lecturer at Reid Kerr College, Mary Jane Bird.

She will give an overview of dyslexia and suggest practical things that can help, hoping the talk will be of interest to parents, adults with dyslexia and professionals.

The talk will be held on Tuesday, September 16, at 7pm in Caithness Horizons, Thurso.
