A Wick woman who admitted driving without insurance for the second time in 18 months has been banned from driving for six months.

Mishela Mladenova, of Murchison Street, Wick, was also fined £400.

The 30-year-old was stopped by police officers in Cairndhuna Terrace, Wick, on September 21, last year, after they discovered she didn't have insurance cover, the town's sheriff court heard on Wednesday.

It was stated that the vehicle was insured but the policy didn't cover her to drive it.
