Driver who scratched car in Tesco Thurso car park fined

A Castletown driver who failed to stop after an accident with her car was fined £180 at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Karen Sharp (42) scratched an adjacent vehicle while pulling out of the Tesco car park in Thurso but drove on.

However, the incident was witnessed by another shopper and the police were informed.

Sharp, a first offender, of Traill Street, Castletown, admitted the offence, which occurred on September 24, last year.
