Disturbance and arrest in Wick

Reports came to the paper about police vehicles being involved in an operation around the former Job Centre and DSS offices on Girnigoe Street in Wick yesterday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.15pm on Friday, 27 January, 2023, police were called to a report of a disturbance in Wick town centre. One man has been arrested and enquiries remain ongoing.”
