The former Hillhead Primary School in Wick is being demolished after being sold by Highland Council to private developer John Gunn & Sons. These pictures were taken from outside the boundary fence on Thursday morning. The school was opened in August 1969 and vacated in the spring of 2016 when it relocated to the new Noss Primary School. The total roll at the school when it opened almost 50 years ago was 254.
