Suzie Taylor (fourth from right) presents the two cheques to accident and emergency nurse Alison Geddes (centre) and Steven Taylor (second from right), for Cancer Research UK.

It has been split between the accident and emergency department at Caithness General Hospital and Race for Life – Cancer Research UK.

Organised by Suzie Taylor, the event was another great success.

Three bands – Doon Major, KW1 and Remix – gave up their time free to play for the sell-out crowd.

The evening also included a bottle stall, raffle, stand-up bingo and an auction conducted by Highland councillor Willie Mackay.
