YOUNGSTERS at Crossroads school have been learning all about Wales after forging a link with a primary in Cardiff.

The P1–4 class have this week been learning about the story of the dragon on the Welsh flag, making daffodils and memorising some Welsh words in the run-up to St David’s day on Saturday.

As part of their Celtic "twinning", they have been putting photos on to a blog which they share with Year 2 of Coed Glas primary in Cardiff. They have also sent one of their class bears, Hamish, to their Welsh counterparts who have, in turn, been making shortbread and learning some Scottish dances.
