Covid-19 cases in Scotland rise to 7409

Another 307 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Scotland – as the number in the Highlands rose a further three to 187.
Six people are being treated in intensive care in the NHS Highland area.
A total of 7409 people have now tested positive across Scotland since the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus.
And a further 58 people have died, taking the total number of deaths to 837.
In the NHS Highland area 62 patients were in hospital with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 at midnight last night.
Elsewhere in the north of Scotland, Shetland, the Western Isles and Orkney's confirmed case numbers remained static for the third day in a row, with 45, six and five confirmed infections respectively.
NHS Grampian recorded a further five confirmed cases of coronavirus, taking its total to 394. Eighty-five people are receiving treatment in its hospitals for the virus, of whom 15 are in intensive care.
There are 1794 positive cases in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
