Police in Thurso are trying to trace someone who made a malicious call that led officers to investigate a "concern for person" incident last night.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.45pm on Sunday, 29 January, officers were called to a report of concern for a person within a flat in Albyn Court, Thurso.

“Officers attended and following a number of enquiries, the incident is being treated as a malicious call. Police enquiries are continuing to trace the person who made the call.”
