Spittal SWI president Anne Gunn welcomed members to the December meeting on a cold and frosty night.

After business was attended to, she then handed over to two talented members – Elizabeth and Sarah Holman who supervised everyone making a Christmas wreath.

Tea hostess was Anne Gunn and raffle winner was Elizabeth Holman.

Competitions were judged by Lynne Read with results as follows – Four mincemeat pies: 1 Liz Hewitson; 2 Wendy Newton; 3 E Holman; 4 Linda Levack. Christmas card: 1 A Gunn; 2 Ruth Manson; 3 W Newton; 4 E Holman.
