Children’s writer heading to Wick

POPULAR Scottish children’s writer Cathy MacPhail is to visit Caithness next month.
She is scheduled to visit Wick High School on December 4 in the morning and in the evening will give a public talk at 7pm in Wick Assembly Rooms.
The following day she will be at North Primary in the morning and Hillhead Primary in the afternoon. In the evening she will give a workshop to Caithness Writers in the Assembly Rooms at 7pm.
MacPhail has earned a reputation as a writer of gritty, urban stories that tackle emotional, contemporary issues.
