Casualty taken away by ambulance after Thurso fire

Emergency services attended the scene of a house fire in Thurso yesterday and one casualty was reported.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.34am on Wednesday, 28 February to reports of dwelling fire on Mount Pleasant Road, Thurso.

"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.

"One casualty was within the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and our crews left at 1.15pm after ensuring the area was safe."
