Four pupils from Castletown Primary School went carol-singing in Dunnet over the festive period and raised £264.50 for the young carers project Caithness KLICS.

Harry Manson, Logan Mill, Antonia Webb and Kirsten Coghill handed over the money to Caithness KLICS' Zoe Sutherland.

Harry, who receives support from KLICS, said: "We were so happy to have been able to raise money for KLICS who are so good to young carers. A huge thank-you to everyone in Dunnet, and the customers of the Northern Sands, who were so generous for a great charity."

Caithness KLICS supports young people under the age of 18 who have a caring role at home.
