Driving without a test certificate, and a defective tyre cost a driver a £100 fine at Wick Sheriff Court.
Katie Moar (26) of St John's Road, Brough, pleaded guilty by letter to the offences which occurred in Castletown, on September 22 last year.
She was given fixed penalty notices at the scene by police officers but they were not paid within the required time and the case was reported to the fiscal.
