Carol Phillips has stepped up her crochet-making efforts for local organisations with her latest donation to the Fishermen's Mission.

Carol, of Roadside, Smerlie, Lybster, had already donated colourful knee blankets to most of the care homes in the county. She then decided to crochet three king-size blankets that will go to help raise funds for the mission.

She handed over the blankets to Scrabster-based Jackie Dodds, the Fishermen's Mission area officer for Caithness and Orkney, who was delighted with Carol's support for the charity.
