Thurso care home goes through the looking glass for tea party





Pentland View care home added a bit of magic to residents’s lives recently by throwing a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

An entire day themed around Alice in Wonderland saw the main lounge at the Thurso home specially decorated and residents, their relatives and staff all getting involved.

Activities coordinators Jeanine Sinclair and Katherine Kerr donned costumes for the day, bringing the Alice in Wonderland characters to life.

The White Rabbit was even in attendance, making sure not to run late for the very important date, with live music provided by Robbie MacDonald.

Residents enjoyed a variety of snacks and cakes, along with all the tea and coffee that they could drink and rounded off the afternoon with Wonderland-themed games including the Queen of Heart’s bowling.
