Car crashes at Stirkoke in wintry conditions

A vehicle with an L plate went off the A882 on Saturday and landed on its side in a field at Stirkoke with no injuries being reported.

It is not known if weather conditions caused the crash but the road had been severely impacted by snow and ice on Friday and Saturday.

​A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.25pm on Saturday, 17 December, 2022, police were called to the A882 near Stirkoke, following a report of a one-vehicle crash. There were no injuries reported and recovery will be arranged.”
