Car crash at junction of Rockhill road and A99 on outskirts of Wick





A MAN was arrested after a two-vehicle smash on the outskirts of Wick on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at the junction of Rockhill Road and the A99 about half-a-mile outside the town heading south.

The man, who is understood to be in his forties, has been charged with road traffic offences.

Police were called at 2.15pm to attend the incident and there were reports of minor injuries.

A woman and child were reported to have been occupants of one of the vehicles involved.
