Car crash at busy junction in Thurso

No injuries were reported despite an ambulance being at the scene of a car crash in Thurso on Friday afternoon.

A reader sent in a picture of the incident, which took place at the A9 junction with Riverside Road and Janet Street at around 3.30pm on June 27.

Police Scotland said that it does not record RTAs (road traffic accidents) unless the accident is serious, and there have been injuries or other issues involved, such as driver intoxication or dangerous driving.

The witness said that traffic was held up for some time at the busy junction.
