A Caithness beauty therapist and her team will be representing an American seaweed-based skincare company on the global stage at a major event in London.

The Country Spa, near Lybster, is the UK flagship spa for Repêchage and will be showcasing the brand at Professional Beauty 2023 at ExCeL in London on March 5/6.

It is the leading UK event for beauty and spa professionals and is attended by buyers and brands from all over the world.

Katrina Sutherland, beauty therapist and owner of The Country Spa, says it is a perfect opportunity to share her passion for Repêchage skincare products with an international audience.

Katrina has worked with Repêchage products and treatments since 2001 and says she has always been impressed with their quality as well as the customer service.

As well as working with salon owners, she visits colleges to offer free demonstrations of Repêchage treatments to beauty students.

As an acknowledgement of her expertise and support for the products, Katrina and her team have been asked by the New York owners of Repêchage, Lydia and David Sarfati, to represent the brand at Professional Beauty 2023.

Katrina said: "It is a huge honour for us to be invited to represent Repêchage and we are all super-excited about being involved in the event.

"Out of all the Repêchage stockists in the UK, we have been selected to promote the brand that we love using. We normally travel to Professional Beauty every year as buyers, so it will be a completely different experience to be there as exhibitors representing an international brand."

During the two-day show, trained Country Spa therapists Keira Anderson and Laura Mackenzie will be demonstrating some of the most popular Repêchage facials.

The main focus during the show will be on the new Hydra Dew Pure facial, developed in conjunction with scientists and oncologists to ensure it is safe for those with immunocompromised conditions or those who are undergoing cancer treatments.

Katrina will be explaining to existing and prospective clients which ranges from the brand might suit their needs best while telling them about Repêchage's education platform.

The Country Spa team will join Repêchage's area manager for the UK Gail Halsall, Irish distributor and educator Louise O'Loughlin and Mexican distributor Yolanda Amador as well as owners Lydia and David Sarfati.

Lydia Sarfati will also be delivering training seminars on Massage Techniques and Understanding the Skin's Barrier.
