UP-and-coming Caithness rock band Neon Waltz have confirmed they will be playing at T in the Park in July.

The group has been signed to play at Scotland’s biggest music festival when they will be performing at Balado on Thursday, July 10.

The band line-up comprises Darren Coghill on drums, Jamie Swanson on guitar, Kevin Swanson on guitar and vocals, Calvin Wilson on bass and vocals, Liam Whittles on the organ and vocalist Jordan Shearer.

They have already had an amazing year so far, being named as NME’s Buzz Band of the Week when the magazine proclaimed them as “the most promising British band we’ve heard this year”.

In April, they performed concerts at the Blackstairs Lounge in Wick and at the Y-Not Bar & Grill in Thurso before setting off on a UK tour.

This year’s T in the Park is headlined by Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, Paolo Nutini, Pharrell Williams and Arctic Monkeys.
