Caithness Robot Wars veteran gets ready for battle again
BOWER Robot Wars legend Robin Herrick is set to re-enter the battle arena tonight as his creation Crank-E takes on all comers on BBC Two at 7pm!
The team consiting of Robin's son Matthew along with fellow father and son Mike and Isaac Potts featured on the last series with Kill-E Crank-E when they were defeated in the first round.
Robin along with Matthew and Isaac feature in an advert for the new series of Robot Wars where they perform a short concert at Dunnet Beach which can be viewed here.

Mr Herrick said this is a new and improved version of their robot from the last series and they hope to make a bigger impression.
"We entered Kill-E Crank-E last year but we've dropped the Kill-E part and essentially it is a brand new robot," he said.
"It's a lot more powerful than before as we have brushless motors, lithium polymer batteries and armour plated steel and it was created with the help of JGC Engineering in Janetstown."
Robin was twice a grand-finalist with Bodyhammer in series one and Pussycat in series four back in the 90's.
