A TEAM of Caithness rhythmic gymnasts, their parents and coaches headed to Gymfest in Perth to show off their skills.
Attended by around 60 clubs from across Scotland, Gymfest, held in Bell's Sports Centre, gave participants the opportunity to showcase the creative side of gymnastics displaying skills such as dance, acrobatics and apparatus.
The local rhythmic gymnasts had trained hard over the past few months putting together a seven-minute routine to a medley of Abba songs, entitled Mamma Mia. In their sequined costumes they dazzled the audience and performed an intricate and dynamic performance which involved the use of hoops, ropes and ribbons.
The team had a fun-filled weekend organised by their coaches which included swimming at Perth leisure centre and visiting the city centre at night to enjoy the Christmas lights, markets and entertainment.
