Caithness pair face trial after being accused of pulling man from vehicle in series of assaults
Two men have been accused of three assaults including one in which they are alleged to have pulled a man from a vehicle.
The pair, Ewan Grant and Jordon Macgregor (both 20), pleaded not guilty when they appeared at Wick Sheriff Court on Monday.
The incidents are said to have occurred in Princes Street, Thurso, on November 7, 2020.
Grant and Macgregor are alleged to have pulled a man from his vehicle, and are accused of then having repeatedly punched him, dragged him to the ground and kicked him on his head.
Grant, of Achunabest, Reay, and Macgregor, who lives in Bayview Terrace, Thurso, are further alleged to have assaulted another man by repeatedly punching him and of having pushed a woman to the ground.

The two accused are said to have acted with others during the alleged assaults.
They are both due to stand trial on March 3.
