Three neighbours in Caithness have won £1000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The trio in the Barrock area netted the windfall when KW14 8SZ was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his good wishes to the winners. He said: “What a great surprise to end the week. Congratulations to our winners.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales from the People’s Postcode Lottery goes directly to charities. Players of the lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Woodland Trust which has received over £13.1 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. It is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, owning more than 1000 woods across the country.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can next apply for funding in August.
