Caithness music TV wins fans from across UK
CAITHNESS Music Television is striking a chord with Scottish and country music fans from across the UK and beyond after being ranked as one of the most viewed programmes on the channel it broadcasts on.
Figures released from the Broadcasters Audience Research Board show that CMT was the seventh most viewed show on Keep It Country TV on Sky Channel 389 and Freesat 516.
Aired four times a week, the show is presented by Castletown's Scottish traditional and country music star Brandon McPhee who introduces some of the county's best known music performers.
He said: "There are a lot of viewers in Caithness but we have also received messages from fans in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and England."
CMT is screened on Monday at 2pm; Wednesday at 5pm; Friday at 1am and Saturday at 5pm.
