Caithness man had knives in public





A Killimster man has admitted having been in possession of two knives in a public place.

Murray Bain (32) also pleaded guilty on indictment to assaulting Constable Thomas Staples, by spitting at him in the face.

The case was continued until June 26, for a background report on the accused, of Four Winds, Killimster.

The offences occurred in High Street, Wick, on August 28, last year, the town's sheriff court was told on Tuesday.
