Caithness hospital friends group help fund specialist vein machine

The League of Friends of Caithness General Hospital have part funded the purchase of an AccuVein machine for use in the outpatient department.

The equipment, which illuminates veins under the skin, making it easier to take blood, cost over £3000 – with the League of Friends donating half the cost.
