The Caithness branch of the Pony Club was involved in a dressage competition with barrier animal health spring festival qualifiers at Halkirk.
The event took place on Saturday, June 3, at Halkirk's indoor riding school and secretary of the Caithness Pony Club, Liz Hewitson, said that it went very well overall.
"The judge, Terry Penna from Orkney, was very impressed with the standards of the dressage tests. The event had previously been cancelled due to lack of entries and it was the first time that quite a few of the riders had done a dressage test. The Preliminary PC 70 Grassroots and Above were qualifiers for the spring festival in April 2024."
