Burns Supper enjoyed by Thurso Rotary Club

Members and guests of Thurso Rotary Club welcomed the return of its annual Burns Supper in the Pentland Hotel last week after an enforced break due to the Covid pandemic.

A spokesman for the club said the assembled company had a great evening of entertainment with good food, music, reflection and laughter.

At the Burns Supper (from left) are piper Lewis MacLeod, Thurso Rotary vice-president Derek Sinclair, husband-and-wife team Thomas McAlonan who gave the Toast to the Lassies and Kathy McAlonan who replied on behalf of the Ladies, Rotary president Daryl Pickering, Mark Davenport who gave the Address to the Haggis and Jacqui Barclay who gave the Immortal Memory.
