Brooklyn-based Numbers And Letters to play in Thurso

AN American band is heading north to Thurso later this month.

Katie Hasty and her Brooklyn-based dark folk/Americana group Numbers And Letters will be at the Newmarket Bar on Saturday, October 15.

Since 2006, the group has performed at New York’s best-loved venues and to date has released a self-titled EP, a Christmas single for each year and is currently working on its debut full-length album.

Songwriter Hasty, who works as managing editor at HitFix.com, spent years as columnist and reporter at Billboard and has freelanced as a critic since she was 17.
