Members of Bower Young Farmers have been busy bees to help send out a positive message with their entry to a national competition.
The bale art design, made last weekend for the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs’ national bale art competition, followed the theme FarmStrong, which is a new rural health and wellbeing initiative being rolled out across Scotland.
Members felt the “bee kind” message was a great way to promote this new initiative as mental health is a huge topic not only in the farming industry, but within the wider community.
The artwork can be seen opposite the glass factory in Wick, and the young farmers are encouraging people to share photographs on social media to help spread the message.
