Bower Show returns on Saturday for the first time since Covid, with the organisers promising it will be bigger and better than ever with something for everyone.

It gets under way with the dog show at noon (entries from 11am), followed by Pentland Brass Band at 1pm. The Bower Show king and his court will make an appearance on stage at 1.30pm, followed by a host of displays and activities throughout the day.

Other attractions include Caithness Archers, vintage cars and bale-pushing, as well as live music from Rain in Summer and Sandstone.

Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
