For the second year in a row, a few brave employees of a Bower-based joinery business took part in a triathlon challenge to support Alzheimer's Research UK.

From June to December, Team Norscot – comprising of 10 members – covered a total distance of 1875km by running, swimming and cycling. They managed to raise £505 which will go towards funding pioneering research to change the lives of people with dementia and their families.

Triathlon team leader Carla Resendiz Villasenor said: “I’m so proud of the team for completing such an incredible distance and raising a great amount of money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. I would like to thank them for all of the commitment that went into reaching these targets.”
