Boost for Lyth-based Labrador rehoming charity
A CAITHNESS-based dog rehoming organisation was one of a number of good causes from across Scotland to benefit from an annual charity event held by vet students.
The Glasgow Vet School Rodeo held its 54th annual family event to support many animal charities including Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland (LRRS) at Lyth.
Claire Marshall and Alison Carey represented LRRS at the event in Glasgow where they promoted the charity which aims to find Labradors in Scotland and the north of England new homes.
Head of LRRS Carolyne Poulton said the group was delighted to attend the event and promote the cause.
She said: “It gave us the chance to raise money for LRRS as well as raise awareness of how we can help owners find their pets a new home if they are no longer able to keep them.”
