Members of Reiss Gardening Club gathered to show off spring blooms and cakes at their annual bulb show, filling the village hall with fragrance and colour.

Committee members were delighted to see an increase in entries in all the sections, particularly in baking and produce. This gave judges Bill and Elaine Watson a difficult time placing the entries.

After much debate Maureen Johnson’s amaryllis took the best exhibit for the second year in a row.
