Blizzards set to hit Caithness

THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning for Caithness as snow and high winds is expected to hit the far north tonight.
Heavy snow is forceast to hit Wick at around 10pm with gusts expected to reach 45mph. The snow is expected to continue into Thursday morning.
Thurso will see heavy rain on Wednesday night but snow is expected during the early hours of Thursday morning with gusts reaching 55mph.
