‘Beautiful gymnastics and lots of smiles’: Fusion talents on show at Gymfest
Coaches at Caithness Gymnastics Club say they are “extremely proud” of the Fusion display team who showcased their talents at the annual Scottish Gymfest.
The event celebrated its 40th year with more than 1800 gymnasts taking part across a fun-filled, action-packed two days in Motherwell.
The team of 22 gymnasts, aged from four to 22, travelled with their coaches to put on their new routine “What Are You Doing in My Swamp?”, based on the popular Shrek movies.
The club said: “Their energy and enthusiasm was evident as they entertained the crowd on both the Saturday and Sunday with a routine filled with beautiful gymnastics, strong tumbling, balances, dancing and lots of smiles.
“The compere praised each performance for both talent and entertainment, complimenting not only the routine but how friendly and supportive the team members were.
“The club’s coaches are extremely proud of the team and Fusion now look forward to entertaining future audiences across several events, both nationally and internationally.”
