A Thurso Beaver Scout has received a top Scouting award during his last meeting with the group.

George Hall, a member of the 2nd Thurso Beavers, was presented with the Chief Scout's Bronze Award as part of a special meeting of the troop.

It was also George's last meeting with Beavers before he "swam" up to the Cubs group for older children during a special ceremony.

There are currently spaces at 2nd Thurso for new Beavers. For more information, contact Ian Pearson on ian.pearson1@tiscali.co.uk
