A WICK primary class have been delighted with the feedback they have received to a letter they wrote to a prominent children’s author.

The P4/5 class of Pulteneytown Academy got in touch with Ceci Jenkinson as part of their recent focus on letter-writing.

Teacher Michelle Foubister asked them to draft letters to the author, with the best efforts selected and posted to Ms Jenkinson.

The Wrexham-based author of the series of children’s books Tales of Trouble, duly replied this week with the pupils delighted to receive a parcel of goodies.

Those who sent letters each received an autographed postcard while the class were given two new novels, Undercover Aliens and Doctor Doom.

Mrs Foubister said: "She also sent us a lovely letter in which she answered all the questions we asked her."
