A SLIDE presentation by participants in this year’s metal and glass casting residency at Lybster’s North Lands Creative Glass and the Scottish Sculpture Workshop at Lumsden, near Huntly, is to be given in Thurso tomorrow (Thursday) night.

Clare Flatley, Kate Hobby, Katya Filmus and Lisa Anne Bate will offer an insight into the intense physical and imaginative stamina required to work in their chosen media, and how the facilities at the Caithness centre of excellence for glass and the Aberdeenshire sculpture workshop allow for a unique opportunity to share ideas and skills to produce highly original work.

The event starts at 7pm and admission is £2.50, which includes refreshments.
