Police Scotland appeal for information as Ifor Williams trailer and high-value tools stolen from property near Thurso

High-value tools and equipment have been stolen from a property near Thurso, according to police.

Officers in the area are asking the public to come forward with information in relation to the theft, which include a 10ft Ifor Williams trailer.

They also want to speak to anybody in the area who may have CCTV or video door bells – or anybody who may have been offered some of the equipment for sale.

The items taken include a Belle whacker plate, Honda strimmer, Honda lawnmower, Dewalt chop saw, three chainsaws, Makita tool bag with two impact screw guns, a four-inch grinder, drill, two circular saws, a yellow electric cement mixer, Makita multi charger, Draper trolley jack, Makita nail gun, Stihl leaf blower and a silver Ifor Williams trailer with registration number YY54 UBX.

The theft occurred at The Smithy, Achscrabster, Thurso between between 10pm on Friday, February 26 and 8.30am on Saturday, February 27.

Police ask anyone in the the Westfield or Barnaclavan/Janetstown area or covering the road from Thurso to Reay to contact them if they may have relevant camera footage.

People with any information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference NJ340/21.
