Appeal after man injured at bar in Waterfront nightclub in Wick

Police in Caithness are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured at a nightclub in Wick.

Officers want to speak to anybody who may have seen the incident at the Waterfront club on the night of Saturday, August 14 into the early hours of Sunday, August 15. It is believed the incident took place around 2am on the Sunday morning.

Police believe the man may have been assaulted next to the bar area. The victim received a serious wound above his eye which required hospital treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number NJ1276/21.
